Could it be burnout?

  • Deep belief that you’re never good enough — or doing enough

  • Where you used to perform well under pressure, now you’re dropping balls and falling behind

  • Can’t remember the last time you felt passionate about your work or life

  • Constantly cranky and exhausted, no matter how much sleep you get

Could it be anxiety?

  • Dominant feeling is fear or worry, even when there’s “nothing to worry about”

  • Holding yourself back from next steps in your academic or professional career due to fear

  • Self-medicating with drugs or alcohol or seeking control through disordered eating

  • Dropping out of your social life because of what you worry people think about you

Could it be depression?

  • The world seems dark and like nothing can make it better

  • You struggle to see yourself as anything but a failure

  • It’s an emotional/mental feat to get out of bed or off the couch

  • Feeling aimless in life or your career, and not sure where to start to reconnect to what matters

Why telehealth therapy?

Telehealth therapy is often the best solution for busy professionals and parents — or schedule-packed girls and teens.

It’s the ultimate convenience, where you don’t have to leave your home, drive to an office, and commute back. Or have to drive your child to yet another location for their therapy appointment!

All telehealth counseling sessions are convenient and private, taking place over HIPAA-compliant video chat.

More about me

Hello, I’m Jennifer Warpool, MA, LCAT, ATR-BC, a licensed psychotherapist serving girls, women, and teens in Westport.

Westport is a top-tier place to live, grow up, or raise a family. But the high standards that make Westport so great are the same high standards that can amp up the stress for both kids and adults.

And then it just takes something — applying to college, a busy month at work, a lack of sleep — to explode manageable (even good) stress into burnout, anxiety, depression, or disordered eating.

This is where starting therapy helps.

My root-cause approach helps you understand where your challenges are coming from, so you can then take the practical steps to alleviate it.

I look forward to meeting you!

FAQs about starting telehealth therapy

  • In most situations, research shows that telehealth therapy has comparable results to in-person therapy. Therapy involves close listening and observation, and structured conversation to help you make progress. This can easily be achieved to the same level when I’m seeing you over video as when in person.

During our consultation, I’ll learn more about what you’re experiencing and let you know if I think telehealth therapy is a good fit for your concerns.

Additionally, my telehealth therapy clients love working virtually from the privacy and convenience of their home.

  • I offer in-person therapy a short distance from Westport, in Greenwich, CT. If you prefer in-person sessions, the drive is about 25 minutes down I-95 or a 45-minute train ride.

    The address is:

    239 Glenville Road
    Greenwich, CT 06831

  • Yes, I am! Yes, I am! To become a client, first schedule a complimentary consultation.

  • I do not take insurance, which allows us to pursue treatment without being limited by a third-party. However, depending on your plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance provider (contact your provider to find out).

My rates are $250 per 50-minute session.

  • I work with girls, teens, and women who are struggling to thrive in high-pressure environments (even if they used to before!). Commonly this shows up as…

    • Anxiety

    • Low self-worth or self-doubt

    • Burnout and overwhelm

    • Stress that never goes away

    • Disordered eating

    • Depression

  • Usually, weekly. In your initial consultation, we’ll figure out the schedule that makes the most sense for you.

  • I draw from many modalities depending on what I think each person needs, or once we see what each person is responding to. I’m trained in the following approaches:

    • Acceptance and Commitment (ACT)

    • Art Therapy

    • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

    • Cognitive Processing (CPT)

    • Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

    • Family

    • Humanistic

    • Interpersonal

    • Person-Centered

    • Positive Psychology

    • Strength-Based

    • Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)

  • Absolutely! I regularly see adolescents, preteens, and teenagers, starting from age nine.

  • Yes, I do — of any age, including young adults navigating college or career challenges, women in midlife, and seniors.

  • Some clients have a specific situation they want to discuss right away, so we’ll jump into that in the first session (after we go over a bit of important, routine intake information).

Others want to take it slower, so I’ll guide them through some questions about what brought them in. It’s up to you!

  • The first step is to book a 15-minute complimentary consultation.  After that call, you decide whether  to move forward with therapy or not. If you’d like to keep going, we’ll book your first session.
